Zimbabwe has been thrown into mourning with the passing of the country’s former President Robert Mugabe.

he died at the age of 95.

The country’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa made the announcement in a tweet saying, “It is with the utmost sadness that I announce the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father and former President, Cde Robert Mugabe.”

According to a source with direct knowledge of the matter, Mugabe died in Singapore, where he has often received medical treatment in recent years.
