American-Haitian rapper, Wyclef Jean, has revealed that he has Nigerian ancestry and referred to himself as ‘Nigerian baba’.
Jean, who accepted to join in the Fvck You challenge initiated by Nigerian crooner, Kizz Daniel, pointed out on his Instagram handle that he just took his DNA test and the result shows that he is 100 percent Nigerian.
Since Kizz Daniel’s ‘Fvck You’ song went viral in March, several Nigerian artistes like Tiwa Savage, Ruggedman, Pasuma, Sound Sultan, Kcee and Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie among others have joined the trend dropping their cover for the song.
Wyclef told Kizz Daniel that despite having worked with the likes of Beyoncé and Lauryn Hill, he considers the Nigerian singer a great talent.
Wyclef posted his cover to the song on his Instagram page on Sunday and it was reposted by Kizz Daniel.
In his comment on Kizz Daniel’s IG post, Wyclef wrote:
“I have worked with artist Beyoncé Lauren hill u name it but I must tell u … u have a great talent keep killing them !!! #returnofthebaba.”
