President Muhammadu Buhari has just suspended the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, according to the President’s Special Assistant on New Media, Mr Bashir Ahmad.
In his place, Ahmad said through his twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad, that Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammed, was named by the President.
Recall that the former CJN was being tried by the Nigerian government for alleged false asset declaration.He denied any wrongdoing.
