A bizarre scenario played out in Akwa Ibom state, the southern part of Nigeria recently when a corpse being conveyed to the burial ground, Ukpom resurrected in the middle of the road.

The yet-to-be-identified man reportedly died two weeks ago.

The dramatic incident which looked like a Nollywood scene happened around Ukpom in Ikono local government area of Akwa Ibom state.

One of the Eyewitnesses who shared the video online said;

“I have never witnessed this one before. I have been seeing it in movies but today it happened before my eyes.”

From the footage shared on social media, the man was said to have been making some moves in the casket while the ambulance was on the move, this prompted the driver to stop and check what was wrong.

After stopping the vehicle by the roadside, other family members in other vehicles also alighted to see what was happening, they brought out the casket, after opening it they were all shocked to see the dead man rise up.

The incident caused an uproar on the street as family members and passersby were heard screaming in amazement.
