“The Experience”, a highly anticipated gospel music event in Nigeria, is billed to hold today at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos State.

The annual gospel music concert would feature an enviable line up of award-winning and renowned indigenous and international gospel singers such as Don Moen, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin,  Nathaniel Bassey, Tope Alabi, Travis Greene,  Chioma Jesus, Timi Dakolo, Eben,  Vicki Yohe, Tim Godfrey, Mike Aremu, Glowreeyah, Onos, Eno Michael and Chee.

Also ministering for the first time at The Experience is JJ Hairston, Planetshakers and Ada Ehi

The Experience began in 2006 as a thought inspired by the Senior Pastor of the House on The Rock churches, Pastor Paul Adefarasin.

This year’s 13th edition, with the theme, “Jesus our Peace” is expected to be mind-blowing as a compilation of the world’s finest gospel artistes would be ministering in unrestrained praise and worship.

The countdown has begun as eager participants have taken to their social media handles to jubilate in high expectations.

In series of post on their social media handles, the organisers wrote;

“It’s HERE! Today on the much anticipated day of #TE13, we are thanking God for hearing our prayers and answering us.

“Thank Him for fresh anointing upon The Experience, for salvation of souls, healings, miracles, transformation for our Nation, safety for all guests and travellers, advancement in individual endeavours, peace in our Nation, an overwhelming manifestation of the presence and power of God, good weather, etc, thank Him for everything He has done. Psalms 69:10#TE13 #JesusOurPeace”

“The Experience has become one of the major highlights on the calendar and is a keenly anticipated Concert with destiny in December for many … and for #TE13.

“The Artistes are all here. All that’s left is you. Don’t miss this! #JesusOurPeace7pm is start time.”

Averaging a yearly attendance of over 500,000 people at the venue, with millions more watching online from all over the globe, it has grown to become one of the biggest gospel concerts in the world.
