A helicopter crashed at a military base in Pohang city in southeast Republic of Korea on Tuesday, killing five people aboard, reports Yonhap citing officials.

One person was also injured.

The chopper went down at the landing strip of a Navy unit in Pohang at about 4:45 p.m. local time, and rescue workers were dispatched to the site, according to the officials.
