A woman has raised alarm after buying plastic yam off Pakistani and Chinese store.
The woman, who took to the social media to express shock at the bizarre discovery, said she noticed the unconventional feel of the yam while washing the slices in the sink.
She thanked God that she had not been too quick to throw them all in the pot, otherwise, her children who would have been the consumers of the product, would have ended up eating plastics instead of yam.
