President Muhamadu Buhari has left the country for Niamey, the capital of Niger Republic. He is to attend an ECOWAS Task Force Meeting on Common Currency. He is accompanied by the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun and CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
This was revealed on Monday in a statement by the Presidency, signed by the Special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina.
On Tuesday, the presidency tweeted an update:
“Today Pres @MBuhari travels to Niamey, Niger, for ECOWAS Task Force Meeting on Common Currency. Accompanied by @HMKemiAdeosun & Gov @cenbank
