Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has said that Zambia are hard pressed to get all three points in tomorrow’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo, warning his charges to brace up for the mother of all battles.
Speaking yesterday at the Ibom Le Meridiem hotel, the Franco-German tactician warned his Eagle, who are three points from booking an early ticket to Russia 2018, that they will be facing a totally different proposition in a new- look Zambian side brimming with vim and vitality.
The former Burkina Faso gaffer said that, “we must come to the knowledge that Zambia that we will play on Saturday is an entirely different and difficult one to the one we beat in Ndola last year. “They are a much organized and better side now and are playing good football which has brought them to where they are now. “They have everything to play for on Saturday. They need three points and they are desperate for the win but we would not allow them. A draw would not be bad for us but we are going for win”.
