The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osibajo presided over the Federal Executive Council meeting today at the presidential villa in Abuja. President Buhari is in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly Summit.
The Vice President has represented the president a number of times when he was not around in the country. On two occassions, the president had been away for several weeks to get medical care in London and the Vice President had presided over the FEC.
