The recent brouhaha at the National Assembly masterminded by ex DSS boss, Lawal Daura has continued to receive mixed reactions. While some have applauded Acting President, Yemi Osinbanjo for Daura’s immediate sack, others have kept the castigation coming directly at the presidency.

Amongst those who consider the attitude of the presidency questionable is political analyst, Femi Fani-Kayode. According to him, something frightful is brewing in Nigeria and prayers are advised in order to save the country.

“I can confirm that it is not true that Daura was taken to SARS. It is not true that he is in police custody. It is not true that he has been disgraced and humiliated. I can also confirm that something frightful is brewing in our country and we must all be prayerful and vigilant,” he said.

On the shenanigans being exhibited by politicians in recent time, FFk said that Nigerians are sitting on a keg of gun powder because it is likely that there will be no election.

He said that politicians who are blinded by their lust for power can neither read nor write on the wall or comprehend the unfolding script. Hence, it is not a question of who will win the election come 2019 but whether there will be an election so to speak.
