The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control has begun tracing the contacts of Mohammed, the son of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar who tested positive for Covid19.

It was garnered that Mohammed came into Nigeria from Switzerland which is also battling the pandemic.

A top source said that the contact tracing had begun.

He said:

“Mohammed was not showing any symptoms of coronavirus but his father insisted that he must be tested and he tested positive. We have already started tracing all those he made contacts with including his immediate family.

“He is clinically stable and is still not showing any signs of illness but he is in isolation.

“He came in from Switzerland and not the UK.”
