This disclosure was made recently as the week-long event—which serves as the platform for the fertilisation of ideas, trends, insights and inspiration that help people and businesses understand how to achieve more in a hyper-connected world—kicked off at Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Themed HUMAN.X, a Remita-powered session by 11:00 am on Thursday February 27 2020 would focus on the impact of fintech collaborations on human-focused lending in a digital world. The session would explore digital lending opportunities and empower individuals as well as SMEs with the essential prerequisites to maximise the possibilities in Nigeria’s burgeoning digital lending space.

Bringing together customers, providers, facilitators and regulators of digital lending in Nigeria including banks, other financial technology players and policymakers, panelists would discuss the potentials that abound in retail lending as well as the innovations and extensive opportunities that can be created through increased collaboration among Fintechs, banks, alternate lenders, credit bureaus and other data providers.

Among the speakers at the session are Tunde Kehinde, Co-Founder of Lidya; Ayotunde Bally, Chief Executive Officer of Arvo Finance; Esther Obiekwe who is a Business Head of Digital Banking Group at Access Bank; and David Okeme, Divisional Head, Payment Applications and Vertical Markets at SystemSpecs, providers of Remita. Technology journalist and entrepreneur, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, would moderate the session.
