The management of Aiteo Eastern Exploration and Production Company has announced the reopening of the Nembe Creek Trunk Line (NCTL).

The reopening is coming on the heels of successful completion of repairs on all reported leak points on the NCTL.

Confirming the development, the company’s media contact, Ndiana Mathew said, “Aiteo confirms that our Emergency Pipeline Repair teams have successfully completed leak repair activities on all reported leak points on the NCTL.

“Consequently, all injectors have been advised to re-align and commence start-up formalities immediately and advise on their startup times.”

Recall that following a fire outbreak on the NCTL on 21st of April 2019, the management shut in injection as well as other related operations into the NCTL in accordance with standard procedure.
