Ekiti State governor and presidential aspirant, Ayo Fayose has gotten busy on the social media again. This time around, he is criticizing the president’s anti-corruption crusade in the light of  Abdulrasheed Maina’s recall and promotion in the ministry of interior.

In his Twitter posts, Fayose berated the president and declared that ‘Buhari’s anti-graft war is like Satan calling Judas Iscariot a sinner’

Another Twitter post reads: Someone accused of stealing billions of pension fund was returned to the FG civil service, and you still think Buhari is fighting corruption?

“Didn’t I tell Nigerians that Buhari was not fighting any corruption? Didn’t I say that Buhari was only after his political opponents?” the governor continued, as he questioned the essence of the President’s so-called war on corruption.

Recall that two commisioners in Fayose’s government were arrested shortly after he declared his ambition to contest as a presidential candidate in the 2019 elections.

Over the weekend, popular online news platform, Premium Times had released a report that the former Chairman of Presidential Task force on pension reform has been recalled and has been promoted to head a department in the ministry of interior. Recall that  Maina had been a fugitive after he was accused of complicity in the over N 2 billion Pensions Biometric Scam in the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
